Salsomaggiore Terme
- Torre San Michele - Cervia
- Project manager: Giulio Ticchi - Responsabile Servizio Verde Pubblico
- Laid out by: Maurizio Mazzoli, Giorgio Seletti, Corrado Molina, Sergio Calmi and Gian Paolo Cavallini
For nearly a century – to be precise since 1923 – Salsomaggiore Terme gardeners have practised mosaiculture, creating famous mosaic flowerbeds rich in harmonious decorations with plants and flowers.
In Cervia they have created a classic parterre garden with plants such as begonia, santolina and alternathera, with the common denominators of height, blossoming time and cultivation requirements. Set out harmoniously they form particularly evocative patches of colour and artistic design.
