The flowerbed created by the main city of the Marches is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the Treaty of Rome which established the European Union. The decoration consists of 12 metal stars set on other stars of blue and yellow flowers.
The ceiling of the flowerbed is highlighted by great festoons in the colours of the nations’ flags.
The flowerbed is also alive by night with white lights that illuminate the flowery stars. In the centre, the number 50 and posters of European unity illuminated by lights that are multicoloured like the flags.
