The German flower capital, here at Cervia Garden City for the third time, wanted to offer visitors a special gem of gardening entitled “Summer Evening.”
Yellow and orange marigolds and intensely red sage spread in the form of waves, symbolising light and warmth.
The setting sun, symbolised by montebretia and rattan cane, casts warm rays that interrupt the waves and give a particularly evocative impression of the overall view.
Lengths of coloured osier draw figures on the ground while yellow gravel divides the strips of plants and highlights the effect of intensely coloured flowers.
At night the highly coloured lanterns flood the plants with warm light, prolonging the dramatic effect of the garden even after sundown.
