Bormio, a renowned mountain resort where the future is closely linked to the past, seeks the traditions and evocations of other times.
This year we have a grandfather writing to his grandson, reminding him that many years ago he had followed the compass northwards and come to a beautiful mountain valley with animals grazing and little wooden houses with flower filled balconies and great harmony.
Grandfather had arrived in Bormio, also known as Magnificent Land, a place he could no longer remove from his heart, a land represented by the great profile covered in lichens and mosses.
