Twinned with the province of Ravenna, the province of Ostalbkreis together with the city of Aalen present for this year’s event a reconstruction of the ancient Limes, the most important outpost of the Roman empire north of the Alps.
The reproduction of the barrier in jasmine, completely surrounded by flowers and interwoven with images of Roman horsemen and a life size wooden watchtower, reign over the flower bed in a very evocative way.
